OZZY OSBOURNE Bassist BLASKO To Play with TAINTSTICK In Hollywood

February 3, 2010

OZZY OSBOURNE/ex-ROB ZOMBIE bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson will take the stage tonight (Wednesday, February 3) alongside Jason Ellis' band TAINTSTICK for a special rendition of the OZZY classic "Crazy Train". This will be a special event that TAINTSTICK is taking part in which will take place the Crazy Girls in Hollywood, California.

Tickets for the event are available at the door, with TAINTSTICK taking the stage at 11 p.m.

TAINTSTICK is the comedy/metal project created by pro skateboarder and popular talk show host Jason Ellis which also features GOOD CHARLOTTE's Benji Madden on bass. The band is currently promoting its debut CD, "6lbs of Sound", released this past October on Suburban Noize Records. The album reached No. 120 on The Billboard 200 as well as No. 2 on Billboard's Top New Artists (Heatseekers) chart.

This event will be TAINTSTICK's only performance until the band takes the stage in Las Vegas on April 3-4 for Ellis' popular Ellismania event. This year's Ellismania features a headline fight between Benji Madden and Riki Rachtman (VH1's "Daisy of Love", MTV's "Headbangers Ball") — pitting metal vs. punk.
